Brisket Roast 100% Grass Fed

Brisket is a cut of meat from the breast or lower chest of the cow. The beef brisket is one of the nine beef prime cuts. Brisket can be cooked many ways. Basting of the meat is often done during the cooking process. Popular methods include rubbing with a spice rub or marinating the meat, then cooking slowly over indirect heat from charcoal or wood. This is a form of smoking the meat. Barbeque is also a good form of cooking this meat. Please note that we cut the brisket into two to three pieces to easily ship it, we can not ship whole brisket.

Our cows live on hundreds of  acres in upstate New York and are rotationally grazed on certified organic pasture. Rotationally grazing means that the animals are moved from one paddock of pasture to another so that they are constantly getting fresh grass to eat. There are no chemical or synthetic fertilizers used on the pasture. The cows have not been given any hormone implants or any type of hormones and have never been given any antibiotics. 

All weights are rough estimates +/- 0.50LBS. When we process our animals it is very hard to get an exact weight on each cut.
