Description
Ground beef mainly comes from the chuck of the animal. 85% lean. An excellent choice for keeema, kofta, or any dish that needs flavorful protein. The 3LBS option has 3- 1LBS packages.
Our cows live on 1,000 acres in upstate New York and are rotationally grazed on certified organic pasture. Rotationally grazing means that the animals are moved from one paddock of pasture to another so that they are constantly getting fresh grass to eat. There are no chemical or synthetic fertilizers used on the pasture. The cows have not been given any hormone implants or any type of hormones and have never been given any antibiotics.
All weights are rough estimates +/- 0.10LBS. When we process our animals it is very hard to get an exact weight on each cut.

Tasty
An excellent choice if you would like just a little fat for you dish. With one pound, I cooked one Spanish dish and another oven-vegetables dish, Syrian style. I buy Organic non-halal usually, but the halal Organic tastes better and smells wonderful. Highly recommended, and worth the price. I hope Halal Pastures open branches in other states.

Best quality beef
After deciding to eat halal only meat, I found halal pastures and purchased ground beef pack of 3. I was worried that meat might that in transit (I live in Arizona and temperature the time of delivery was 110+F), meat came in an ice cooler and completely frozen. Price wise it is the same as regular organic grpund beef but this is even better value since it is halaal. My first bite left me speechless; it is the beat tasting beef I have ever had! I will definitley buy again and will be a long time customer. Thank you for providing the health conscious an option to eat healthy and halaal!

Ground Beef
The only reason I am giving 4 star and not 5 star because we were expecting a more "leaner" ground meat. I know the product we ordered is perfect for kebabs but we are hoping you have ground beef that is extra lean for cooking.

You can taste the quality
One of my favorite Halal Pastures products. The quality of this ground beef is exceptional. Unlike other ground beef, I don't end up with a puddle of juices in the pan after I cook it. The flavor reminds me of beef from when I was a child, flavorful and delicious. I have quite a stash in the freezer - there's no going back to regular halal ground beef insha'Allah!
