The bottom half of the leg of the lamb. The shanks are individually wrapped and the 3lbs bundle come with 4-6 individually wrapped lamb shanks.
All our lamb is 100% pasture raised. Our animals are ethically raised on organic pastures without the use of genetically engineered grains, antibiotics, hormones or any other growth promoting drugs. Our lambs live on hundreds of acres in upstate New York and are rotationally grazed on certified organic pasture. Rotationally grazing means that the animals are moved from one paddock of pasture to another so that they are constantly getting fresh grass to eat.

Luscious lamb!
I have a proclivity towards lamb, but it is impossible to find organic lamb around Cleveland. Even if it were 'organic,' it would be gassed and bloody. This lamb shank is beautiful and I feel good about ingesting it after knowing that it had lead a good life on a pasture. Many thanks, Halal Pastures!
