Great for Broth-- YUM!
Recently I read an article on how to make bone broth by Bon Appetite. The first item was to put bones for broth in cold water and bring to 20 minute boil to remove unwanted bits. Then remove neck skin. Then roast in 400° oven. Followed by simmering, filtering, concentrating ...etc...Well, I now have the most delicious turkey base for soup, gravy, sauce. I love all the simmering with wonderful smells throughout the house. I also used turkey wings for this, also. Thank you for a "clean" fresh broth.
